Named of it's rusty brown/red color this bird is found in savannas. Vision is the standard 8 times better then human. This soaring bird has a wing span of 5 feet which is quite large for a hawk. It's piercing cry can be heard for miles. 3 pounds males tend to be darker then females. 3-4 eggs molting after the second year adult at 3 years.
