During periods of inactivity, Hithosok often have Varniok with specialized training impart their skills to other Varniok. This has a triple benefit: it helps a Falvarniok to continue to function despite casualties, staves off boredom and restlessness among the troops, and provides the men with valuable skills that prove useful in civilian life.
