Biography
Once an outsider in the Queen’s Winter Court and now an outsider to the city of Drache, Nerriqiri is well familiar with the role of the hermit. The endless currying of favor within the bosom of cold Fae nobility was ever a thorn in the reclusive Unseelie’s side. Lies, treachery, and vicious pleasure did not rile her blood. In fact, it did the opposite; She avoided the Court at all costs, visiting only when necessary, until even the paltry benefits failed to outweigh the numerous costs.
She is a newcomer in Drache, nestled into a rather lackluster corner of the city and content to work on her passions unimpeded by the far-reaching hand of the Fae to whom she used to owe her time to.
These days, much of her life is devoted to poisons; making, concentrating, and studying their effects. Creatures of a dangerous nature -- especially those with venom or other fatal toxins -- are of particular interest to her, and she is more than willing to trade her work for such things rather than for something as bland as human coin.
Personality
While not openly hostile, she is not a hospitable character by any means. Nerriqiri favors keeping to herself whenever possible and abhors social gatherings with a passion. She is far more comfortable secluded in her shop dealing with potions and poisons all day with nary a word spoken to another soul.
When forced into interaction, she speaks in terse, clipped tones, although she rarely raises her voice beyond this. Once her capacity for socialization has been reached, she is likely to simply depart, rather than remain in discomfort.
Slow to anger and even slower to warm up, Nerriqiri’s behavior remains at a steady status quo of “Get to your business and be done with it.” with very little variation upon this theme.
Physical Description
Not often will she be seen without her full garb; Cloak, gloves, and several layers of clothing beneath. Most have only seen the upper half of her face beyond the Fae Realms, but all can agree upon its less-than-human appearance. Her eyes are glossy black disks in a slightly-too-flat face. Her segmented skin is less mobile than the softer, more fragile physique of most other races, and can be theorized to cover the whole of her.
When in motion, it is clear she does not operate under the same physiology of more humanoid races. She skitters; Sharp, fast movements, especially when she does not concentrate on appearing agreeable to the senses. With delicate actions comes a strange deliberateness to her body, a singular focus, as if such precise operation requires effort.
